Spirit Radio has been on air since December 2010 after been provided with an initial contract allowing it to broadcast on FM to Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford. The station was then able to build its own AM transmission network and is now available nationally on MW 549. It schedule is made up of Christian and mainstream music as well as News, Current Affairs and special interest programming.

Raidió Rí-Rá is available year round on the Internet. The station successfully had provisional FM radio broadcast licences in the past. The station is an Irish Language Pop music service aimed at young people. The service had been provided with temporary FM licences in the past, during Seachtain Na Gaeilge. The DAB licence is for 3 years and will initially air on a Multiplex run by Digital Radio Ltd, they also hope to be on other systems including UPC, RTÉ NL's DAB and Saorview.
