Two Hearts Wins IN Rome

Two Hearts, A Film by Darren Thorton, has won the Best International Short Film at the Rome Independent Film Festival this month. The film also won Best Short Film Award at the inaugural Final Film Festival in March. The film was written by Colin Thorton and produced by Colette Farrell for Calipo Pictures.

Laura is a young woman who see her world turned upsidedown when a man from her past is released from prison. Two Hearts tells her story as she finds herself going back to a life that's is forbidden.

The film was funded under Bord Scannán na hÉireann/The Irish Film Board's Signatures Short Scheme. The Signatures scheme aims to encourage strong, original storytelling, visual flair, and production values appropriate to the big screen.
